Chinatown

Last night my friend Keith and I made plans to hang out and shoot some photos around Chinatown. This morning, when I left my apartment for the day, I didn't realize but I had brought my fixed lens. It's great for shooting portraits and stuff in a studio setting, but it's not easy to use on the street because there's no zoom. When I got downtown to meet Keith and realized all of this, I decided that I was going to focus on taking shots of people. I'm starting to realize that people make street photography interesting, more than anything else you find on the street. I'm really pleased with some of the shots that I got (though, not all of them are people... Ha).

I hope you find them as interesting as I did. :)

Summer

So, it seems as though I'm only able to do these about once a month... Oops. Anyway, it's crazy how busy I have been for the past few weeks. They have really been a whirlwind. Whirldwind? Whirlwind. Whether it's been personal projects or paid projects, I've been shooting almost every day.

I'm doing a headshot special for the next 10 days. $100 for a 30-45 minute shoot with 2 retouched photos. So, if you're in the market for new shots, shoot me an email and let's make it happen.

Here are some photos from the past few weeks. This is what has been keeping me busy...

I'M BACK!

Hello everyone!

Well, unfortunately my camera is still off somewhere in the ether being repaired. I guess it's been about a month since I sent it off. Who knows if it will ever even come back? Luckily I have a wonderful friend, Matt, who is letting me borrow his Nikon for awhile.

My best friend, Aja, was in town for a few weeks so we decided to do a couple of photoshoots. We did some studio shots and some yoga shots.

We had a lot of fun and got a lot of really great shots. Here are a few of the best ones! Enjoy and have a great week!!

Camera Woes

I'm not sure what it is, but something is wrong with my camera. I've been having trouble getting the exposure correct for a couple of weeks. All the photos have been underexposed despite what my light meter is saying. I'm having it looked at tomorrow. Luckily I've still managed to get a few good shots.

Also, this week I shot some photos for my friends at Cross Church NYC. They're a church plant and they are just starting to build a community on the Upper East Side. If you're looking for a group to get plugged into, they are a bunch of lovely people. Check out their website at www.crosschurchnyc.com. Here is my favorite shot from their first service held on May 31.

Rangers v. Yankees

Went to see the Rangers play the Yankees today at Yankee Stadium with a bunch of friends. We all had such a good time (especially because the Rangers spanked the Yanks).
